About Thiruvellarai Sri Pundarikaksha Perumal Temple

This is No.6 in the 108 Divya Desam temples in India. 

This Indian temple is located in a hillock called "Swethagiri", about 100 Ft. High. This Hindu temple's tank was shaped as a Swastik, with the unusual characteristic that if one bathes at one end of the tank, he or she cannot be seen from the other end due to the shape of the tank.

Devi (Mother Goddess) has all the first right in all the festivals of this Hindu temple. All the properties of the temple are in the name of the Devi (Mother Goddess).
